- Oct "Everybody" is released as a 12-inch single in US. (A video for "Everybody" is made on a $1,500 budget, directed by Ed Steinberg and features Madonna at The Paradise Garage club in New York, NY but will not be released on MTV).
- Dec (25) "Everybody" hits US #107.
